我想給大家看一小段文章

How bad was the economy in the fourth quarter last year? Forget the official revision of U.S. contraction to 6.2%, even legendary investor Warren Buffett struggled to break even, joining the ranks of "investors of all stripes [who] were bloodied and confused, much as if they were small birds that had strayed into a badminton game."

But even that touch of vintage Buffett prose from his annual letter to Berkshire Hathaway (nyse: BRK - news - people ) shareholders, released Saturday, didn't sugarcoat any bitter pills. Losses of $4.6 billion on stock derivatives contracts caused the company's net worth--Buffett's longstanding measure of success--to fall to $109.3 billion at year's end from $120.2 billion at the end of September 2008 and $120.7 billion at the end of 2007.

Buffett also 'fessed up to a couple of big investing bloopers: increasing Berkshire's stake in ConocoPhillips (nyse: COP - news - people ) to 84.9 million shares at the end of 2008 from 17.5 million shares in 2007
, getting caught out by the dramatic fall in energy prices in the year. A stake bought for $7 billion was worth just $4.4 billion at year's end.

有買高價股的朋友應該都知道這兩檔股票吧

他對持有者告知自己所犯的錯誤

因為投資ConocoPhillips ( 一間很大的油廠 )

沒有看出隱藏的危機

( 應該有委婉點的說法但我不知道.. )

使得Berkshire Hathaway攬上的巨大的虧損

雖然在年終總計是賺錢的

但如果沒有這項虧損將遠遠超過前年的獲利

如同一隻鳥兒不小心飛到正在比賽得羽球場

被球拍擊中 受傷流血


我想說的是

很多人都為自己錯誤找理由生藉口

目前瀕臨倒閉的銀行也都是因為本身問題已久了

但華爾街的貪婪者隱瞞著

造成崩盤

因為地球村

全世界是連動的


當我們站在巨人的肩膀上

我們可以看得更遠

但是巨人倒了

我們卻也無一倖免



在學校也是一樣

為了面子找理由蓋上自己的過失或者錯誤

實在很可恥

就連我家的米格魯如果吃便便被抓包

也會低頭認錯


也希望電視上的人

也是



只有承認自己的過失

面對自己的錯誤

未來才能繼續往前走
